Moreover, he has extensive experience in preparing and executing U.S-South Korean MOUs, LOIs, NDAs, and Licensing and Business Agreements for startups, SMEs and those international in scope.

As an expert witness and legal consultant, Southerton has worked on cases involving IP, Trade, Commercial Law, International Family Law, Labor Law, and Personal Injury and Wrongful Death. By virtue of his education, experience, training, and skills courts in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and California have accepted his testimony and expertise.
Professionally, Southerton is an author, advisor, consultant, and strategist working with most of the top Korea-based global corporations, along with major western firms that have ventures with South Korea.
In addition, Southerton has advised and supported Korean Ministry of Knowledge, The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy — KOTRA and Invest Korea, and U.S. Korea Connect (the Korean Embassy in Washington, DC).
